Special Fundraising Events

The Buckskin Council holds a number of special fundraising events throughout the year. Some are focused on specific districts and others support council needs.

Mt Dominion-Seneca Golf Tournament

This tournament raises funds in support of the council’s camping programs.  The event is comprised of up to 36 foursomes (144 people) competing in a scramble format at the Lake Shawnee Golf Course.  Sponsorship opportunities begin at $1,000 and range to $5,000.  Contact Erin Aldridge (Erin.Aldridge@Scouting.org) if you are interested in helping organize, sponsor or play in this tournament.

Adena District Golf Tournament: "Scramble for Scouting"

This Golf Scramble supports the council's camping programs.  The Scramble for Scouting takes place at Creekside Golf Course in Lavalette, WV.

Sponsorships range from Tournament Sponsor at $5000 to Tee or Green Sponsor at $150.  Contact Mark Cox at 304-736-3054 or Carl Sullivan at 304-523-3408.
