Hampden-Sydney Citizen-Leader Scholarship

Description and requirements: Any accepted Eagle Scout who attends Hampden-Sydney College are eligible to receive this scholarship.
Many in the scouting community are aware that Hampden-Sydney College has long offered a scholarship for Eagle Scouts. That scholarship is now increasing to $20,000 per year—a total of $80,000 over four years.
Hampden-Sydney is a natural fit for scouts, according to Vice President for Enrollment Jeff Norris. “Over their four years here, students hone their character and leadership abilities, learn through experience, and contribute to the lives of others, making this transformational education a perfect choice for young men who have achieved scouting’s highest honor.”
Award Amount: $20,000 scholarship (renewable)

Epsilon Tau Pi's Soaring Eagle Scholarship
Awarding Agency: Epsilon Tau Pi Alpha
Description and requirements: This scholarship recognizes one incoming freshman each who is an Eagle Scout, has demonstrated leadership ability in Scouting, and has a strong record of community participation beyond Scouting. Applicant must have an SAT score of at least 1600 and/or an ACT score of at least 25.

Lindsey Wilson College Eagle Scout Scholarship
Awarding Agency: Lindsey Wilson College
Description and requirements: This need-based scholarship covers up to half of tuition. Applicant must be an Eagle Scout and a new, full-time freshman with a minimum ACT score of 24, a minimum cumulative high-school GPA of 3.00, and acceptance for admission to Lindsey Wilson College. In addition, applicant must submit letters of reference from a Boy Scout official and one other source, along with a written essay on how Scouting has benefited him.
