This programming is made possible by a Benedum Foundation grant, which aims to build youth resiliency through character building programs in partnership with Buckskin Council, BSA, Inc., Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council (GSBDC), Inc., and the West Virginia Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship Parents Network (WVFAKPN). These groups are working together with the West Virginia Council of Churches and Aetna Better Health of West Virginia to serve youth in foster or kinship care with meaningful programming and adult role models.
